Fishing and Heritage Day
South Otselic, NY hosts The 17th Annual Fishing & Heritage Day Saturday, May 16 from 9am-4pm. This is a community wide, free family event, including fishing clinics for youth at the State Fish Hatchery, arts, crafts, antiques, old time carnival games for kids, food and live music, all in the Town Park; antique tractors displayed in the middle of the Hamlet; chicken BBQ takeout at the Firehouse; special programs and exhibits in the Town Hall, the school and the State Fish Hatchery; rope braiding demonstrations by Gladding Braided Products, once the world’s largest fishing line manufacturer, and much more.For details call 315-653-7490.
