The apostle Paul writes that the way we live, is tied to our relationship with
Christ.

Colossians 3:13 Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you.  Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others. (NLT)

As Christ-followers, how many times have we come before God’s throne of grace and sought forgiveness?  Over and over the Savior forgives and forgets . . . “as far as the east is from the west” – right?  Now, imagine we have been offended and now we are to extend that same grace . . . what does it mean to forgive as Christ forgave?

When the Lord forgives He does not remember the offense against us or bear a grudge.  No matter how often we return — He always forgives.  AND when the Lord forgives . . . He treats us as if we had never sinned!  That’s Calvary love!
