The apostle John affirms that Jesus is the divine Son of God.
John 8:12 . . . [Jesus said] “I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.” (NASB)
Scripture says that God Himself lives in unapproachable light. If light is truth, honor, virtue and justice: Jesus says: I am the light of the world! If there is a benchmark for good — Jesus says it starts with me.
Separation from Jesus leads to darkness of thought and action. Darkness, causes you to trip, stumble, and ultimately to fall. Pain springs from darkness – but there is joy and freedom in the Light of Christ!
