The apostle Paul explains how God has an individual, customized plan of good works for each of His followers.
Ephesians 2:10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them. (NASB)
Years ago a man named Bill Bright developed a tool to share the love of God with others. It is called “The 4 Spiritual Laws”. The first law is: “God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life.” This verse reflects that truth. God has a blueprint for you to accomplish in your lifetime as a Christ-follower!
But it gets better!! God even provides the resources to fulfill that plan! (Philippians 4:13) It’s my habit before my feet hit the floor in the morning, to first pray to God and claim His strength to accomplish His plan for me that day. It’s an adventure! It’s empowering! I believe that by claiming these promises each day . . . and putting one day after another . . . living in obedience to God . . . eventually you will hear the Lord say, “Well done, good and faithful servant!”
