The apostle Paul warns that when a Christ-follower sins, the Holy Spirit has to come along for the ride.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God?  You are not your own, for you were bought with a price.  (ESV)

We all face many temptations from multiple sources every day!  The wonderful thing is it’s not wrong to be tempted, it only becomes wrong when you give in.  One of the reasons to say “no” to a temptation is to remember your body is a temple.  Really!  When you became a Christ-follower, God sent His Spirit to live within you.

Many go to great lengths to protect a smart phone or a tablet.  It’s not surprising, because these bits of technology are expensive and quicky seem almost indispensable.  You’d never think of leaving a smart phone outside at night.  It’s special to you and you want to keep it pristine . . . like the day you bought it!  Do you value your relationship to God enough to say “no” to temptations that grieve the Spirit of God who inhabits your very soul?
