Korean Ground Beef Bowl
Ingredients
- 1 Pound Ground Beef
- 3 Cloves of Garlic Minced
- 1 Pinch Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
- 1/3 Cup Soy Sauce (reduced sodium)
- 1 Tbsp Fresh Ground Ginger
- 1 Tbsp Kimchi Paste (optional)
- 2 Tbsp Gochujang Paste or Sauce
- 2 Tbsp Mirin
- 1 Bunch Scallions, Chopped
- 2 Cups White Rice Cooked
Method-
Brown the beef and drain the fat. Add in the garlic and cook over medium heat for 2-3 minutes. Add in soy sauce, ginger, Kimchi and Gochujang and Mirin. If you have a hard time finding the Gochujang or Mirin, use tomato paste mixed with chili flakes and rice wine vinegar!
Bring to a simmer and add in the scallions. Serve over rice, cooked grains or noodles. Makes 4 Servings
