Need a last minute recipe for Turkey Day? Serve up this cranberry sauce instead of the canned stuff!
1 Cup Sugar
1 Cup Water
12 oz Fresh Cranberries
2 Oranges (one zested)
1 Tsp Cinnamon
In a sauce pot, bring the sugar and water to a boil. Add rinsed cranberries and boil for 10 minutes. Juice the oranges and add to the pot. Add cinnamon and zest and turn off the heat.
Cool in a bowl in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. Then serve it up!
Makes about 2 1/2 Cups
