Nick's Picks: Chicken Saltimbocca

Pronounced Salt-em-bouka! This tasty treat has a savory and rustic feel. Light and delicate too to satisfy everyone!

Ingredients:

1 1/2 – 2 Pounds Chicken Breast
1/4 Pound Proscuitto Very thinly Sliced
Fresh Sage
1 Tbsp Garlic
2 Cups White Cooking Wine
2 Tbsp Butter
Salt and Pepper
Olive oil

 

Method:

Place a sage leaf on top of the chicken breast and wrap each one with a slice of proscuitto. Season with salt and pepper

In a large skillet, heat a little oil. Place the chicken and brown on each side until golden brown. Add garlic and cook for about a minute. Add wine to de-glaze making sure to burn off the alcohol. Once chicken is fully cooked, remove the pan from the heat. Add butter and stir until melted and combined.
