Ingredients-

1/4 Cup Soy Sauce
1 Tbsp Cornstarch
1/3 Cup Beef Broth
2 Tbsp Honey
2 Tbsp Hoisin Sauce
1 Tbsp Rice Vinegar
1 Tbsp Toasted Sesame Oil
4 Garlic Cloves Minced
2 Tbsp Fresh Grated Ginger

About 2 cups Fresh Broccoli Florette
Baking Soda

3 Packages 3oz Ramen Noodles (seasoning packets removed)

1 Pound Beef Sirloin Sliced Thin
2 Tbsp Olive Oil
Salt and Pepper

Sesame Seeds
Red Pepper Flakes

 

Method-

In a small sauce pot, combine the soy sauce and cornstarch and whisk together until smooth. Heat over medium heat and add in the beef broth and other sauce ingredients. Bring to a simmer and remove from the heat.

In a large pot, boil water and add in about a tbsp of baking soda. Blanche the broccoli for 2-3 minutes, should just be tender. Drain and rinse with cold water. Drain and set aside.

In a large pot, boil water and cook the ramen noodles for 3 minutes, breaking apart the noodles. Drain and rinse with cold water. Drain and set aside

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over high heat. Sear off the beef and season with salt and pepper. Add in the noodles and the broccoli and the sauce and stir to combine. Once simmering, remove from the heat. Sprinkle with sesame and red pepper flakes and serve!
