The unknown author declares where a Christ-follower can turn for help.
Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. (KJV)
Does God know what you are going through in your life as a Christ-follower — or is He on the other side of the galaxy creating other worlds? The very thought that God is occupied with anything else to the exclusion of His children — misses the point of verses that say: “if He sees the sparrow fall, how much more will He care for you for whom He sent His only Son?” In order that God would know what it was like to live in this world as a Christ-follower — He sent His Son to do just that!
Now, since Jesus was tempted in all ways just as you are and without sin — you can confidently come to God and ask for mercy and grace when you need it. Does God know how hard it is to live for Him in this world? Yes, because all He has to do is ask His Son. “What was it like?” Then, God can give you exactly what you need, when you need it!
