- [August '26 Update](https://www.familylife.org/5000/august-26-update/): Life rarely unfolds exactly as we expect\. Sometimes the surprises we experience bring great joy, while other times they challenge our plans and require us to trust God in new ways\.

The journey toward Family Life's new ministry facility certainly included moments we didn't anticipate\. Yet through every step, we are reminded that nothing takes God by surprise\. He sees the beginning and the end, and His plans are always unfolding according to His perfect wisdom and timing\.

Scripture offers this encouraging promise: \<em\>“See, I am doing a new thing\! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?” \</em\>\(Isaiah 43:19\)

Throughout the Bible, God often worked in unexpected ways\. Mary and Joseph received news that changed history\. Peter witnessed a miraculous catch of fish after a night of empty nets\. Job experienced God's restoration after unimaginable loss\. Again and again, God accomplished His purposes in ways no one could have predicted\.

Those reminders encourage us as we continue to pray for this project\. While we don't know exactly how or when God will provide, we do know that He is faithful\. His timing is perfect, and His plans are always greater than our own\.

As we wait, we invite you to continue praying with us\. Pray with expectant hearts, trusting that God is already at work and that He will provide what is needed in His way and in His time\.

- [July '26 Update](https://www.familylife.org/5000/july-26-update/): Recently, Family Life staff spent a morning prayer walking around the future site of our new ministry facility\. It was a special time to pause, seek the Lord together, and dedicate this project to Him once again\.

As we walked the property, it was hard not to imagine the ministry that could one day take place there\. We pictured people gathering to worship, families attending events, lives being changed through the hope of Christ, and guests traveling from across New York, Pennsylvania, and beyond\. It was a powerful reminder that this project has always been about much more than constructing a building\. It is about creating a place where people can encounter Jesus\.

That morning also reminded us of an important truth: this project will only move forward through God's provision and His blessing\. While we continue to wait for the next steps, we are confident that He is leading, and we trust that His timing is perfect\.

\<em\>"Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus\." \</em\>Philippians 1:6

Whether it is a home, a business, or a ministry facility, we naturally look ahead and wonder what it will become, who it will serve, and how it will make a difference\.

As we continue praying for the new Family Life facility, we are reminded that God is building something far greater than a physical structure\. He is building His Kingdom, changing lives, and drawing people to Himself\.

Scripture reminds us where every lasting work begins: \<em\>“For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ\.” \</em\>1 Corinthians 3:11

While we look forward to the day construction begins, we can already see God at work\. Every prayer offered, every life touched, and every person who finds hope through this ministry points to His faithfulness\. His Kingdom continues to grow, even as we wait\.

That is why we remain hopeful\. \<em\>“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him\.”\</em\> Romans 15:13

One of the greatest encouragements this month came from a young supporter who shared that she prays for the new facility every night\. What a beautiful reminder that God is moving people of all ages to pray for this project\. From children to longtime supporters, each prayer is a meaningful part of what God is doing\.

As we continue this journey, let's keep our eyes on the Lord and the work He is accomplishing through Family Life every day\. We trust His timing\. We trust His provision\. And we trust that He is moving ahead of us, even when we cannot yet see the full picture\.
