Family Life Ministries has an opening for a part-time Traffic Coordinator.  Family Life, in its 65th year of ministry, has plans to build a new world-class headquarters in Corning, NY that will allow for the growth and expansion of our performing arts, events, and Hope & Healing counseling ministry departments, as well as our regional radio network which consists of nearly 70 broadcast signals in New York and Pennsylvania. JOB SUMMARY

The Traffic Coordinator is responsible for generating daily logs of program sponsorships, public service announcements, and paid promotional spots using the Aquira software program. This position includes generating and approving contracts, running logs for all 8 regions of the network, running monthly reconciliation reports, and other traffic/scheduling responsibilities. The Traffic Coordinator is a part time position that is a part of the Radio Department team and reports directly to the Director of Radio.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to):

  • Generating and approving contracts for paid promotional spots and underwriting announcements in Aquira
  • Creation of daily traffic logs for all 8 regions
  • Assignment of sponsor codes and flight numbers
  • Creation of media lines for each account that correspond to client audio stored in XDS delivery system
  • Run of monthly reconciliation reports so clients are not charged for spots or sponsorships that did not air regionally
  • Monthly reports submitted to the Director of Radio showing percentage of potential revenue and percentage of total opportunities sold in all 8 regions
  • Tracking accounts getting ready to end, maintaining renewals for continuously running in house spots
  • Creating monthly report of Active Program Sponsors

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must maintain a positive Christian testimony through a vibrant, active, and strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college, preferably with a focus on Marketing, Advertising, Business, or Communications
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; meticulous organizational, project management, and time management skills.
  • The temperament and personality to interact with a variety of individuals in a professional, positive, and pleasant manner; ability to exercise independent judgment when appropriate
  • Ability to work well under pressure; self-motivated with a proven ability to solve problems; ability to work under varying degrees of supervision
  • Fully competent in basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and Excel, as well as all aspects of Aquira traffic program
  • Be available for all four days of our Spring and Fall Sharathons.

SALARY

$15- $18/hour
