DESCRIPTION:Actors and Actresses ages 8 and up are welcome to audition for Family Life’s upcoming performance of A Christmas Carol!\nBe part of the spectacular adaptation of Charles Dickens’ most well-known story! On the night of Christmas Eve, Ebenezer Scrooge is met by the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future, who show him the consequences of greed and the joy of kindness. A Christmas Carol is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI).\nDates & Time\nMonday, August 3rd\nTuesday, August 4th\n6:00pm – 9:00pm\n*All auditionees should arrive by 6pm or as close to 6 as their schedules allow.*\n**Auditionees need to attend only one of the audition days listed above.**\nLocation\nFamily Life in Bath, NY\nWhat You Need to Audition\nAuditionees are asked to prepare a 32 bar cut of music that best showcases their voice in a style appropriate for the show. No a cappella please. Bring along sheet music for provided accompanist or a recording.\nPlease prepare a short (less than one minute) monologue. If you don’t have one, one will be provided for you.\nWear comfortable shoes for a dance audition.\nPlease bring a headshot and one-page resume if able.\nSchedule\nRehearsals take place Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday nights from 6pm-9pm and some Saturdays.\nTech Week is November 16th-18th, 5pm-10pm.\nPerformances are November 19th, 20th, and 21st and December 3rd, 4th, 5th, 11th, and 12th.\nRegistration\nRegistration is encouraged, but walk-ins are accepted.\n***Registration will open at 12PM on June 15th, 2026***\n
